Sh.Ramesh Kumar, Hon’ble Divisional Commissioner Jammu, visits DPS Jammu

Hon’ble Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sh. Ramesh Kumar Ji visited
Delhi Public School Jammu during the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
being celebrated by the school and blessed the students and staff on the
occasion. He was warmly welcomed with a potted green plant, symbolic of
growth and prosperity. Further, as a mark of respect for our strongest
patriotic symbol - The Tricolour, the Hon’ble Divisional Commissioner was
also presented with the National Flag woven in the khadi fabric, as a part of
the Khadi promotion campaign of the school spearheaded by Hon’ble Pro-
Vice Chairperson- DPS Jammu, Dr. Kunwarani Ritu Singh Ji in J&K. The
flag was presented by the school Principal- Ms. Ruchi Chabra on behalf of
the esteemed Management, staff, students and the Delhi Public School
Society, New Delhi  to reaffirm the commitment of DIPSITES for the most
solemn and constitutionally and traditionally authorized symbol representing
the whole country, the entire nation’s pride, its ideals, hopes, and
aspirations. People throughout the history of India have laid down their lives
for safeguarding its entity, and the least that every citizen can do is to
express their strong connection and solidarity for their National Flag in any
manner they can.
Sh. Ramesh Kumar Ji, Hon’ble Divisional Commissioner Jammu
appreciated the solemn gesture and conveyed his best wishes to all the
school students and staff and management for providing quality education to
the future of the nation.
