AMEYA CHOUREY OF DPS JAMMU SHINES AT NATIONAL LEVEL MOUNTAIN BIKING CHAMPIONSHIP

Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu takes immense pride in announcing that Ameya Chourey, a Grade XI student, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing a position in the top-10 category in the Under-18 division at the National Level 21st Mountain Biking Championship 2024. The championship, held at Panchkula from March 28-31, 2025, witnessed the participation of 100 cyclists from various regions across the country. Representing the J&K Union Territory under the aegis of the J&K Sports Council, Ameya’s stellar performance has brought glory to the school and his state.
Earlier too, Ameya had clinched 2nd position and a silver medal in U-18 years age category in Jammu District Cycling Competition held on 25th September, 2024. His journey as a cyclist has been exceptional, with consistent achievements at district and state levels over the past four years. His unwavering dedication has earned him the honor of representing Jammu and Kashmir in national competitions at the junior level held in Panchkula. As an active member of several esteemed cycling clubs, he has made a mark with his extraordinary performances.
Ameya’s discipline, perseverance, and commitment embody the core values nurtured at DPS Jammu, serving as an inspiration to the entire school community. His achievements are a testament to the excellence and determination championed by the school.
