DPS Jammu, Katra & Nagbani Felicitate Alumna Neha Mahajan on Her Appointment as BJP Mahila Morcha President, J&K

The management of Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu, Katra, and Nagbani proudly felicitated Ms. Neha Mahajan, a distinguished alumna of the 2003 batch, on her recent appointment as President of the BJP Mahila Morcha (Women’s Wing) for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

A special felicitation ceremony was held in her honour, led by the esteemed Pro-Vice Chairperson, Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh (DPS Jammu/Katra/Nagbani), and graced by Mr. S.S. Sodhi, Director DPS, along with the Principals of DPS Jammu, Katra, and Nagbani; Vice Principal of DPS Jammu; senior faculty members; and several teachers who had taught Ms. Mahajan during her school journey.

Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh congratulated Ms. Mahajan warmly and expressed immense pride in the achievements of DPS alumni. She lauded Neha’s leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to public service. As a symbol of national pride, Dr. Singh presented her with the National Flag under the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, along with special mementos on behalf of all three DPS branches. She also emphasized the pivotal role of women empowerment in building a progressive and inclusive society.

In an emotional and inspiring address, Ms. Neha Mahajan reflected on her transformative journey from the classrooms of DPS Jammu to her current role in national leadership. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to her mentors and teachers for instilling in her the values that shaped her path. She also pledged to visit the school again soon to interact with students and inspire them to uphold the proud legacy of DPS. Ms. Mahajan was accompanied by several women representatives from her team.

The ceremony was infused with patriotic spirit, further elevated by stirring performances of patriotic songs by the school choir, creating an atmosphere of pride and nationalistic fervor.
