DPS JAMMU STUDENTS SHINE AT 9TH PENCAK SILAT FEDERATION CUP 2025

Three talented young students from Delhi Public School, Jammu, brought laurels to the school and their families by securing two gold medals and one silver medal at the 9th Pencak Silat Junior & Senior Federation Cup 2025-26, organized by the Ladakh Pencak Silat Association. The prestigious event was held at NDS Stadium, Leh, from 2nd to 4th August 2025.
The students competed against more than 500 participants from across the country and emerged victorious. With this remarkable achievement, they have now been selected to represent India at the upcoming 3rd Asian Junior Pencak Silat Championship, to be held in Srinagar.
The medal winners are as follows:
• Mahika Sharma (Class XI-B) – Gold Medal
• Rigved (Class XI-B) – Gold Medal
• Sparsh Sharma (Class IX-E) – Silver Medal
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Distinguished PVC, Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji, and Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, congratulated the winners and their proud parents. They also extended their best wishes to the students for continued success in their future competitions.
